South Park/Scientology Row A Hoax

So Isaac Hayes tells Opie & Anthony on XM Radio:

The whole quitting thing was Matt’s idea. They were just starting their 10th season and were looking for a great idea to spark renewed interest in the show, and it did! The first two episodes of this season got some of the highest ratings ever! At the end of the episde, “The Return of Chef”, Darth Chef rises, and that’s the character I will now be playing. I can’t go into more details, but let’s just say that you are in for a treat in the next several episodes.

  1. Are we sure that this new announcement isn’t just an April Fools hoax by the folks at tveps.net?

"I may attack a certain point of view which I consider false, but I will never attack a person who preaches it. I have always a high regard for the individual who is honest and moral, even when I am not in agreement with him. Such a relation is in accord with the concept of kavod habriyot, for beloved is man for he is created in the image of God." —Rav Joseph Soloveitchik
