Okay, I'm Nervous Now

ynet:

During a security briefing in Tel Aviv Lt. General Yuval Halamish from the Military Intelligence said that “Hizbullah has over 10,000 rockets amassed for many years in storage.”
Halamish also spoke about the incident where a navy ship was struck by a missile off the shores of Beirut: “This is an Iranian missile that Hizbullah has, we will investigate and draw conclusions.”

jta:

Tel Aviv was put on rocket alert.
Israel’s military Homefront Command on Sunday issued an advisory to residents of Tel Aviv to be vigilant for possible sirens warning of incoming rockets.
While Hezbollah’s barrages have so far been limited to northern Israel, military officials said the advisory was meant to give residents of Tel Aviv a chance to prepared their bomb shelters should the rocket range extend further south.
Israel believes Hezbollah has rockets capable of reaching as far as Beersheba.

  1. Now, now Mobileh – remember, There Is No Military Solution.
Just go down into your reinforced basement, sip some mineral water, breathe deeply – and repeat your worthless little leftie mantra:
    There Is No Military Solution.
    There Is No Military Solution.
    There Is No Military Solution.
    There Is No Military Solution.

  2. Where the hell is John Brown!?
I can’t wait to hear how it is all our fault.
    How we are to blame.
How the true /freedom fighters/peace seekers suddenly started lobbing thousands of missiles at us.
How less than one year after Judenreining Gaza it becomes the new staging grounds for increased terror. (Duh)

  3. Allow me to share some words of wisdom from “THE MOST INFLUENTIAL INTELLECTUAL IN THE WORLD – NOAM CHOMSKY” (from an interview Jul 14th 2006)
“Gaza, itself, the latest phase, began on June 24. It was when Israel abducted two Gaza civilians, a doctor and his brother. We don’t know their names. You don’t know the names of victims. They were taken to Israel, presumably, and nobody knows their fate. The next day, something happened, which we do know about, a lot. Militants in Gaza, probably Islamic Jihad, abducted an Israeli soldier across the border. That’s Corporal Gilad Shalit. And that’s well known; first abduction is not. Then followed the escalation of Israeli attacks on Gaza, which I don’t have to repeat. It’s reported on adequately.
The next stage was Hezbollah’s abduction of two Israeli soldiers, they say on the border. Their official reason for this is that they are aiming for prisoner release. There are a few, nobody knows how many. Officially, there are three Lebanese prisoners in Israel. There’s allegedly a couple hundred people missing. Who knows where they are?”
He met with Nassralah (Bin Laden of Hezbollah) in May.
    What a Tzaddik!

  4. One More:
After meeting with Hezbolla head terrorist Nasrallah, Chomsky turns to the pack of journalists and TV crews waiting outside and declares: “I think Nasrallah has a reasoned and persuasive argument that the arms should be in the hands of Hizbullah as a deterrent to potential aggression, and there are plenty of background reasons for that …”
    Go Noam.
Supply him with arms to kill Jews.
Oh, right, we are the aggressors.
    Good night.

  5. I myself am not nervous. This is just a continuation of the perpetual state of war that has existed since Israel’s founding in 1948. So thank you, United Nations, for giving us this tinderbox. It’s just what we needed after the Holocaust.

  6. i was quoting an israeli military official and it’s my little lefty mantra?
if the chofetz chaim wasn’t staring at me, i’d tell you what to go do with yourself.

  7. Mobius– A Hezbollah Lebanese government minister ruled out hitting Dimona. That was in Ha’aretz’ news ticker yesterday.

  8. “i was quoting an israeli military official and it’s my little lefty mantra?”
WHy the hell is he still a military official? His job is to come up with military solutions to everything from annihilating hezbollah to opening a pickle jar.
Let the politicians worry about finding diplomatic solutions.

  9. I just remembered. Wasn’t Israel developing a laser weapon, the Tactical High Energy Laser, to shoot down these katyushas?
According to the bbc website they made a sucesfull test with it back in 2000. Where the hell is this thing?
