Bar Ilan Database Online For Free Trial Period
Very exciting–the uh-may-zing Bar Ilan University Jewish text database, featuring just about everything you could think of and a lot of stuff you couldn’t, is free and online for the time being, anyway.

On Macs, it works with Firefox but evidently not Safari.

For those who are not yet aware, the Online Library of the Spertus institute of Jewish Studies, for a small annual fee, gives you access to the Bar Ilan (most updated version) and many other Jewish CD Rom databases online. As far as I know it’s completely legit.
