Free Israel summer program for Jewish high schoolers interested in science

The Legacy Heritage Internships for Young Scientists is a six-week summer program which takes Jewish students who are passionate about science to Israel for the summer, at no cost.

The program, now planning for its second year, offers participants the opportunity to see Israel, learn about their heritage, and strengthen their knowledge about Israel and its place in the world, all while conducting research and living on the campus of Hebrew University. The pluralistic program is for high school juniors, is competitive and requires participants to get involved in Israel advocacy and science competitions upon their return. While the selection process is not need based, if you know any kids that might not otherwise be able to travel or do research this summer, this is a perfect opportunity.
