  2. Now that the film A Sacred Duty is on YouTube (www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9RxmTGHZgE), it’s really easy to watch — and I highly recommend that people do so. Our environment is in peril, the way farmed animals are treated in industrialized animal agriculture causes them unnecessary suffering (tza’ar ba’alei chayim), and there are many other problems mentioned in this film that are widespread yet quite questionable through a Jewish lens. This film is a must-see.

"I may attack a certain point of view which I consider false, but I will never attack a person who preaches it. I have always a high regard for the individual who is honest and moral, even when I am not in agreement with him. Such a relation is in accord with the concept of kavod habriyot, for beloved is man for he is created in the image of God." —Rav Joseph Soloveitchik
