Now that the Winter Olympics are done, what are you going to watch? Try the Matzo Ball Olympics, a short video I made for Manischewitz. It’s a teaser for a longer mini-mockumentary I produced about Manny Schevitz, a beleaguered Matzo Ball Olympian.

“What Makes a Hero?” is a rough cut of a promotional video I produced for UJC’s Jewish Community Heroes awards in 2009. It wasn’t used during the campaign, but I am happy to release this long form version of the video, which features interviews with about 25 people on the streets of New York City and Brooklyn. The video was recently presented at the Limmud NY 2010 Conference.
Produced and directed by Jewish Robot, interviews conducted by Paul Berger, shot and edited by Simon Weaver.

This is the first of a series of three Rosh Hashanah video greetings I produced for Taglit-Birthright Israel. The title “High Resolutions” brings to mind technology, and personal resolutions for a new year, during the “high holidays”. So the videos are all about improving interpersonal communication by cutting back on less personal methods of communication through technology, like Facebook, Twitter, and texting.

There aren’t many mainstream Jewish cartoons out there. But Fox Broadcasting Company is cosponsoring the FOX-Aniboom Holiday Animation Challenge, and Shabot has a chance at winning a development deal with the network!
So if you love the little robot, you can help him win the popular vote by watching the video on Aniboom and sharing the link with your friends. And, Shabot will get bonus points if you register to vote for him by rating the cartoon with 5 stars.
Thanks for your support!
