Blueprint Addresses “Shidduch Crisis”
The conference was created to address the rising number of Jewish singles within the myriad streams of Orthodox Judaism. In a community that has moved away from the traditional approaches to meeting and mingling and yet still promotes marriage at a younger age than secular communities, many are finding themselves stuck in a self-perpetuating struggle. The results are less marriages and more frustration. Enter community projects like the National Council’s conference.
