Brafman has experience in high-profile sex-crimes. He recently defended/arranged a a plea agreement for Rabbi Israel Kestenbaum (formerly of the NY Board of Rabbis) on pornography and attempted child endangerment charges.
He was also one of the speakers at a seminar held at the RCA 67th Annual Convention, May 27-29th, 2003 about Rabbinic Behavior: Confronting a Crisis of Accountability. This seminar was in response to the unwanted publicity due to the cases of Rabbis Kestenbaum, Lanner and Bryks. I believe tapes of this seminar are available from the RCA.
