He doesn’t have to be “energetic crazy”? Maybe at that age, “joie de vivre” is a more reasonable request. I just hope that whoever he is, he can keep up.
I hope I’m still looking for “joie de vivre” when I’m 76!

yeah except that time she threatened to sue the jcc on the upper west side for changing its name to the jcc in manhattan and told the jewish week that she’d go straight to president bush with it

I’m pretty sure Dr. Ruth is active in the JCC in Washington Heights, and she felt that by changing its name, the UpWesSide JCC would be linguistically negating her JCC. I think that was the issue…
yes but no eli. her organization is the washington heights y — not the jcc, tho it is a member of the jcca. her claim was that, if one of her benefactors were to die and leave money to “the jcc i went to in manhattan” that somehow their family would assume that meant the jcc on the upper west side. her reasoning was preposterous.
Oh. But still, she’s so cute. And she hangs out in the diner on 187th Street with her synagogue Sisterhood buddies on Saturdays and basically every other day she’s around, so I’m still a fan…
If that’s the worst thing she’s ever done it doesn’t bother me that much.
Little old ladies are intitled to a bit of righteous indignation now and again. As for bringing it up to the President- that’s just funny-let’s hope that man has a few more important issues to focus on right now.
I agree with Eli- she’s still so cute and cute trumps litigious in this case.
