I’ve been avoiding buses and cafés in central locations since the hitnakud began. When you have a majority of Palestinians running around believing the Gaza disengagement is a victory for their violence, you can only expect things to get hairier…
I fear we’re looking towards a messy season.
wasnt it ann culter who got a lot of flack for saying of the the muslims: kill their leaders and convert the followers to xtainity. actually not a bad solution (isnt it interesting that there have been no xtain palestinian suicide bombers, only muslim ones – too bad the world isnt composed of xtains, buddhists, hindus, jews and pantheists).
I think if we give them an airport they will stop these bombings.

what kind of bigot am i? one who was in a raging fury when 3,000 americans were murdered by muslim radicals, and even more so when mainstream muslim groups either pretended the action was carried out by jews or failed to utterly condemn it; one who is in a raging fury when another jew is murdered in israel and muslim religious leaders defend the action on the basis that the muslim prohibition against killing “innocents” doesn’t apply because no israeli is an “innocent”; and in a fury when 50+ brits are murdered in london and again muslim leaders don’t unequivacally damn the perpetrators. somehow buddhists from tibet aren’t bombing chinese…poor mexicans aren’t bombing americans…..but muslims are as of this moment murdering philippinos, thais, black sudanese, xtain nigerians, east timerians ….. whereever you find the worst political behavior, murder of civilians, beheadings, rape and murder, you are most likely to find a religious muslim at its centre, and find that behavior supported by muslim religious leaders. would the world be better if mohammed has never existed? ask the almost disappeared coptic xtians of egypt, the almost completely disappeared xtains of bethleham….need i go on?
If there was one main reason out of many not to pull out, it was, not to be even remotely interpreted as placating to the vile terrorist pigs demands.. NOw it seems like its a direct result in their eyes.. WHy did we pull out again?
We have a military to do all that shit, no need for terrorism on our part. Additionally, some muslims would not be all muslims. Christians could be said by that same logic to imprison and torture innocent arabs. Chinese could be said to do the same to other Chinese and Tibetans. There have been Hindu terrorists, and even Buddhist ones in recent years (Aum Shinryko for example). There have been only a few Jewish terrorists. I’m glad that this is so, and hope that it will continue and that we will act in further accordance with the demands of morality.
Anyways, our moral obligations are the same regardless of how they are responded to by others. The occupation of the Gaza was wrong. It was in our power to end it, so we were obligated to do it. Regardless of whatever the Palestinians are or aren’t doing we have our obligations to do what is right.
Avi, you might care to do a little reading before you open your mouth so wide. Raging bigots are never known to see the coast with clarity and often drown in their own vitriolic bubble bath…

The Observer
A controversial Islamic scholar who is backed by London Mayor Ken Livingstone has said it is a duty of Muslims in Iraq to become suicide bombers.
Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, speaking at a conference of Islamic scholars in Egypt last Monday, criticised a fellow scholar who said the Koran categorically forbids suicide but an individual has the right to take such action.
Al-Qaradawi said: ‘I think that saying it is a legitimate right in Palestine and Iraq is not enough because a right is something that can be relinquished. It is a duty…
‘The truth is we should refrain from raising this issue because doubting it is like joining the Zionists and Americans in condemning our brothers in Hamas, the Jihad, the Islamic factions and the resistance factions in Iraq.’
