Jewish Social Action Month

Cheshvan, which more or less coincides with November, has been designated Jewish Social Action Month by the sorts of Jews who designate such things. There’s actually a fairly wide range of events & programs which have been suggested by members of Kol Dor, one of the sponsoring organizations, JFL, and other institutional Jewish types.
Since I’m actually in Kol Dor myself, I thought I’d throw open the door to Jewschool readers & contributors to suggest other resources for the socialaction.com site. It is pretty open – what’s there ranges from “Coming out in a Jewish High School” to shareholder responsibility initiatives. There seems to be some money and protektzia in the initiative, so – consider the bandwagon ready to be jumped on.
