Disgusting, anti-Semitic, and yet strangely flattering…

How do they enforce the restriction that only Jews may enter the contest? Some of those cartoons seem to be lacking in the ironic whatever that would make this contest entertaining.
Also, within 2 years those cartoons are going to wind up on the cover of al-Ahram as serious commentary. Well, maybe not your two-penis one, but some of the other ones.

You should try a little subtlety. It simply isnt funny, and the fact that you have to spell it all out like one of those jewish press cartoons doesnt help.

but i think there should be another debate here, which is why anti-Semitic cartoons in the Arab world havent evolved at all; it’s like they’re stuck pilfering the same old der sturmer stuff over and over again. they are like totally old school. where’s the creativity? Azmi Bishara should write an essay in al-Ahram decrying this phenomenon.
