"Death To Israel" Rally in Utah

SLC to issue permit for the ‘Death to Israel’ rally
Day of protests: Jewish community concerned, but acknowledges First Amendment rights

When asked if he wants to see the elimination of Israel, Breeze said: “The President of Iran has an excellent idea. . . . I would like to see them move Israel to Virginia and put all the current Virginians in a concentration camp. Then we’ll see how popular Israel is [in the United States].”

“I’ve never really discriminated against anybody that is Jewish. It’s not anti-Semitic to criticize Israel.”

  1. “…I would like to see them move Israel to Virginia and put all the current Virginians in a concentration camp…”
You mean like the Native Americans that Virginia replaced, champ? Oh, wait… they didn’t get anything as genteel as a ‘camp’.
    Feh.
I think it the utmost irony that we, as Americans, whose freedoms and country came at a much more brutal cost than Israel’s; use analogies like this.
Tell it to Andrew jackson, jerkoff.

  2. I don’t know if Americans are using analogies like this, Champ. At least not very often. But that one does bug me too, when it does crop up. Here’s why it bothers me. For how long are we not allowed to be critical of other nations or peoples when they commit sins that we too have committed in our past? Should our past mistreatment of African Americans have prevented us from taking a stand on apartheid in South Africa? What about the genocide of the Jews — should we have closed our mouths because we too had committed genocide here in America? Should we have been receptive to a German who might have argued, “who are you to tell us anything about genocide?” I think your argument, which is basically, “Well, you did it too!” would only slow the progress of advancing human rights; that is, if it were all that persuasive. I will give you this, it would be extremely aggravating for a people who currently are guilty of horrible sins to condemn the same behavior of others. This would be the case, for example, of Jewish Settler (or a supporter thereof) to be critical of what the Europeans did to Native Americans.

The statute of limitations runs… until the Jew tries to do the same thing in order to survive that the others did in order to thrive.

  4. the assumption is that Jews did this to Arabs? Digging into the real facts, not the propaganda, would give a better understanding of the origin of the conflict and the massacres going back to the turn of the century. it is anti-semitism to hold israel to a higher standard than the rest of the world, and to accept dogma without an effort to understand
