Schecting a goat — a messy business

Over at The Jew & The Carrot, Simon Feil, actor and kosher-organic activist, compares shechting (kosher butchery) to DJing and debunks a popular kosher meat myth in his two-part (one & two) discussion of how goat-schechting logistics would proceed for the Hazon Food Conference. If you didn’t catch the discussion of whether to schecht or not schecht, don’t miss it.
P.S. The Food Conference is now full, registration is closed — stay tuned to the blog for vicarious slaughter updates, like whether they actually do it!
