The Forward has announced it’s 50 “most influential members of the American Jewish community” this week, with a few interesting surprises, including Douglas Rushkoff, Yehuda Berg of the Kabbalah Learning Center, and The Daily Show‘s Jon Stewart.
I used to work for Carolyn Starman Hessel, and I’ll tell you this much: she doesn’t even read the books she promotes, or the books she lauds with awards. The JBC is a joke.
