Victory to the “day-dreamers”
The majority actually supports the old Zionist ethos, which is primarily based on preserving what exists, but it remains apathetic. The arena is filling up with settlers, refuseniks and anarchists. In the Likud referendum, they even won.

Zionism was originally an idea so crazy it made 20-year-old kids leave their families forever to go settle in a land they’d never been to and speak a language they’d never known. Who the heck is INSPIRED by the Labor or Likud? Nobody. There’s no sense of chasing a dream, no sense of trying to create some new heaven on earth. It’s only the people who want to “revise” the state of Israel that have that kind of motivation.
