  1. Well I can’t read the infoshop article because my job says it’s a site about crime… But she does seem to be a very confused woman who joined up with Judaism like it was a non-trendy trend. While she was probably following all the “rules” she didn’t seem to have the real feel of Judaism in her heart. She picked up the traditions to fulfill a spiritual void, and then dropped them when she realized traditions alone can’t fill up a spiritual void. It seems very close-minded to me to fault somebody for searching for a different path to spiritual fulfillment when they find the path they were on led them nowhere.
But I think Mo was trying to say it’s good for the world’s view of the Jews to not have her on our side… Not knowing too much about the Dr., I don’t know how I feel about that idea.

  2. Something about this whole episode reminds me of the famous Godfather line: “Just when I thought that I was out they pull me back in.”
