For Jewish basketball fans, tonight’s NCAA championship game couldn’t have come at a worse time.
Tonight is also the first night of Passover, an eight-day celebration of Jewish freedom, when Jews traditionally gather for a ritual meal called a Seder.
The timing has inspired basketball fans hosting Seders in Charlotte and across the country to come up with creative ways to watch the final between Georgia Tech and Connecticut without sacrificing a favorite Jewish ritual.

We ended our seder early so that we could watch the game. My cousin is an alumnus of UConn, so it was important that we do so.
