Free Speech?
Ha’aretz reports:
Attorney General Menachem Mazuz ordered a criminal investigation Wednesday against Daniela Weiss, the head of the Kedumim local council in the West Bank, as well as Noam Livnat, an activist settler and the founder of the “Defensive Shield” movement which encourages conscripted and reserve soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces to refuse orders to evacuate settlements.
Weiss is to be investigated on suspicion of inciting others to desert, a crime punishable by up to five years in prison, as well as inciting to disobey, which carries a one-year sentence.
Damn, six years for advocating non-violent resistance is a lot. I guess that makes me guilty as well.
