Grassroots Resources By Rabbis

[W]e do not believe that if only we Jews all had precisely the right set of religious ideas, processes, or practices, we could heal the breach between Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist, Renewal, and the remaining non-affiliated, secular Jews. To the contrary, our hope for Klal Yisrael springs from the possibility of common action on issues of widely shared concern, guided by the Torah.

For individuals and organizations interested in tikkun olam, Gather the People has added five of its community organizing training guides to its web site.

Gather the People is a nonprofit organization—launched by a sponsor committee of rabbis representing virtually all the branches and movements of Judaism—providing creative tools for congregational development and organizing. Whether you want to strenghten your current community or start a brand new one, this website has many resources that can assist you.
