Israeli actress Chana Laslau won best actress award at Cannes Film Festival, for her role in Amos Gitai’s film “Free Zone.”

I dedicated this prize to my mother and all living Holocaust survivors, and to the casualties on both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” Laslau said after being awarded the prize.
