An excellent new website, Humane Kosher, has just launched as “a joint project of independent Jewish leaders and several Jewish staff members at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.” The website intends to be a resource for the Jewish world to promote alternatives to a meat-based diet. Among other things, the site features a harrowing video hosted by Jonathan Safran Foer that includes footage of the recent AgriProcessors scandal.
