An offensive indoctrination video airing on Palestinian Authority television, which incites hatred towards Israelis, may land the PA in some serious copyright trouble, as it includes the music from the Microsoft video game Halo, without permission.

Microsoft responded to Palestinian Media Watch, who raised the issue, by stating, “As a corporation, Microsoft does not maintain any involvement with activities of this nature. We were not aware of any media from the Palestinian Authority nor was permission granted to incorporate the Halo soundtrack as background music.”

The news comes within days of CAMERA detecting “muddled” information and possible anti-Israel bias in the latest edition of Microsoft’s multimedia encyclopaedia, Encarta.
