Shal(om): YOGA IN A JEWISH CONTEXT
Monday
December 12
7:30 PM
JCC of Manhattan- 76th St. and Amsterdam
Shal-Om yoga is Jewish yoga, intertwining Jewish teachings with yoga postures. It allows for a deep letting go that helps us more deeply and directly experience that which we really are.
It deepens understanding of Jewish teachings and text by embodying it, and deepens the Yoga practice by immersing it in such wisdom. Mostly, though, it is to the bless the Life that you are, and allow yourself to surrender into being lived by it.
Whether you are a first-timer to Yoga or you are a Teacher of it, it doesn’t matter.
Whether your path is immersed in Judaism or you’ve just barely brushed up against it, it doesn’t matter.
No experience of anything is necessary.
Mats and props will be provided.
Please wear comfortable clothing.
Come into contact with that which is breathing through you right NOW.
Come play…
