I’m an advisor for the local AZA chapters here, and during our last program with the Sabas and Saftas, the issue of The Passion came up. Their stance on the issue is that we should be fighting fire with fire.
I would say this is a little napalm-ish.

Solomyr: there is a huge difference between “eat me, I’m kosher” and “christ killer.” There isn’t a huge difference between “What about all the good things Hitler did” and “christ killer.”
There is funny, and then there is tasteless. This definitely falls under tasteless.

I saw this on jewsweek.com a little while ago. If you read their mission statement, they’re trying to be provocative and incite discussion. So I guess if you care about intentions. . .
