VIDEO: Bend the Arc rallies against the next round of Islamophobia
As it has been throughout the Trump presidency, Bend the Arc stood at the forefront of the resistance to the second Executive Order from President Trump barring entry temporarily to people from six majority-Muslim countries and cutting the U.S. refugee program’s admission target for the year by more than half.
During a protest in the park across from the White House on March 6, the day the Order was released, Rabbi Jason Kimelman-Block, Director of Bend the Arc Jewish Action, joined other true leaders standing up to speak out. He spoke against fear and the national security threat that is created – not addressed – by the Order.
More importantly, he exhorted everyone to stand up and act. To not be among “those who remain silent or retreat into the convenience of being overwhelmed.” Those who do, Rabbi Kimelman-Block made clear, bear “responsibility for enabling this evil to flourish.”

As Bend the Arc’s campaign says, we’ve seen this before. Literally with the new Executive Order and figuratively with the actions by the Trump Administration and the protests against it. But no matter how many times we’ve seen it, we must fight it.
Watch this video when you need to be reminded why we fight.
