Bob Hertzberg, the Yiddish-gabbing Hollywood lawyer who was roughly neck-in-neck with Antonio Villaraigosa (a Latino city councilman) for the Los Angeles mayoral primary has lost his bid for mayorship of Tinseltown. Looks like we don’t control Hollywood afterall.
Ack, i was really pulling for Bob, he’s a good guy. Signs posted in my neighborhood (I live in the Pico-Robertson district, the LA equivalent of the Upper West Side) read “Ha am eem Bob.” I guess not enough of them were unfortunately.
Pico-Robertson is not the L.A. equivalent of the Upper West Side. The Upper West Side is not predominately Orthodox.
