Hasid Murdered in Brooklyn

Ynet reports,

Ephraim Klein, an ultra-Orthodox Jew from Crown Heights in Brooklyn, New York, was shot to death Tuesday on one of the neighborhood streets.
The motive for the murder is not yet clear, but anti-Semitic sentiments may have played a part.
[…] The New York Police Department has launched an investigation into the murder, and detectives are looking into the possibility that the murder was anti-Semitic, but are not ruling out that Klein was an innocent victim of a local gang war.

  1. From what I have heard on the street, it may have been race related, but there may have been people who had a reason to do this act, especially since, he was shot three times and it did not seem so absolutely random where he was shot.
Apparently, he was fearful of going to Williamsburg with regard to a property that he owned/managed. There may be more to this then meets the eye.
Also, from those who knew him, the characterization, as “ultra-orthodox”, is way off base.
