Hope for the future?

The Jerusalem Post reports,

“Fifty-nine percent of Palestinians believe that Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad should continue their armed struggle against Israel even if Israel leaves all of the West Bank and Gaza, including East Jerusalem, and a Palestinian state is created, a new survey shows.”

I’ve learned not to believe polls too much, especially those taken by Frank Luntz, the right wing conservative idealogue who produced a handbook for marketing Israel to kids, earlier this year, entitled Israel in the Age of Eminem. To say, in this case, that the pollster is unbiased, and that his results are unlikely skewed, would be an affront to one’s common sense. Luntz clearly has an agenda—he’s on the payroll of the most powerful Jewish philanthropy in the world.

However, if his data is accurate, then this is one of the most disturbing revelations to date and ultimately proves that the Palestinian majority is obsessed with the utter destruction of Israel. But to confirm this, I would like a poll taken which asks if they believe terror attacks should continue if a one state solution, guaranteeing equal democratic representation, is reached. If, under these circumstances, they believe the terror campaign should cease, then the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will take on an entirely new form, and one which I particularly wouldn’t mind lending a hand in, cuz it would involve a whooooole lotta fuckin’! Er, making babies I mean… I could hear the campaign slogan now: Make love, for war—the population race is on! As long as I’m not gonna get blown up, for sure I could make aliyah, get married, and screw my brains out… Why not?

As for now, consensus belief is, they just want to kill us. And that don’t make me feel very pretty inside. Certainly not as pretty as the prospect of making lots of babies… If Luntz is just spinning propaganda, you can be sure it’s not going to have a positive effect.
