JDub announces adoption of Jewcy.com
A big mazel tov to the staff of Jewcy.com! JDub Records and Jewcy made the announcement today after, oh, three months of being the worst kept secret in Jewish online publishing. But now that it’s public, we’re happy that Jewcy will survive and ever more appreciative of how JDub supports independent Jewish culture. And with support from the LA federation and Repair the World, editor Lilit will finally get a paycheck after six months of working for free. Well earned. Mazel tov, gang.
I’m feeling dubious about it. Here are my thoughts about Jewcy from when they first lost funding: http://davidsaysthings.wordpress.com/2009/02/18/im-ein-kemach-ein-jewcy/
