Jerusalem Was Destroyed Because People Loved Money and Hated People
According to the Rabbinic source closest to the event, the reason Jerusalem was destroyed the 2nd time was because of the kind of interpersonal hatred that stems from love of money, of profit.
This is the hatred of people by Europe and the US, who stole and steal immense resources and humans from the global south, impoverishing and murdering myriads in order to hoard profits, and then torture and murder those they have impoverished who come to our doorstep to survive on scraps of that which was stolen from them.
This is the hatred of people by all rich people, whose wealth grew enormously during the pandemic off the deaths and suffering of the many.
This is the hatred of people by Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, all the titans of Hollywood, factory farms, and industry, and the elected officials in their pockets, whose profits soar and multiply while their workers are denied a living wage, the conditions to work safely, go to the bathroom, etc.
This is the hatred of people by the American and Israeli tech and surveillance industries and all who lionize them for their start-up ingenuity, whose work monetizes for the few the lives and bodies of Palestinians, Black people, asylum seekers, and others they brag about terrorizing in their trade shows and deny terrorizing to the public.
Love of money, people, love of money.

Just to tell you the Christian Bible says a similar thing, Jesus was just the last straw according to it, God was already mad, and frankly I expect America is going to face a huge problem too.
