on the light(er) side
Good friend and Satmarophile Kushick makes his Judaica debut in the goyische Pottery Barn catalog with the Verona Menorah, a sort of accordian folding menorah that lets you rearrange the whole thing in fun cluster, yin yang or circle shapes. As Rafi says:
The candles can be moved around, however they can be lined up straight to make it a kosher piece (candles are required by holochoh to be in a straight row, and of even height). I was very excited to take an enthusiastic role in designing a product that is usually an after thought, and generally bought off an existing vendor line.
I don’t know about those 24 inch candles, though, seems crazy to this 8 minute-burn-time girl.
