Rabbi Resigns Due to Alleged Sexual Misconduct
From the JTA: An official with an educational program for Jewish high school students has resigned after allegedly searching the Internet for liaisons with underage boys and sending naked pictures of himself.
Rabbi David Kaye resigned from Panim on Monday, informing leaders that he was to be featured on “Dateline NBC” on Friday for seeking a sexual encounter with an underage boy in a chat room.
NBC News conducted a sting in August, working with a group called “Perverted Justice.” Members of the group, posing as underage boys and girls, entered Internet chat rooms and waited for adults to engage them in conversations, Chris Hansen, the NBC reporter on the story, told JTA.
Kaye and others allegedly spoke to the presumed children about sex, and suggested meeting them. Kaye allegedly sent one individual naked pictures of himself, said he was gay and arranged a meeting at a Northern Virginia home where the “boy” said he lived, which NBC had equipped with hidden cameras.
When he arrived, he was confronted by Hansen.
“He admitted to being a rabbi,” Hansen said. “He then got very agitated.”

Wow. Rabbi Kaye is actually the former rabbi of the synagogue I grew up with and a teacher of mine. It’s shocking and I feel so bad for his 2 daughters. Do remember that this is a human being and a father and do remember the community so do watch what you say here and how disrespectful you are. This is a stunning tragic revelation. Of course, he needs serious help and needs to be away from children and whatever laws he violated, he needs to be published by a court of law.

I don’t feel sorry for child molesters, period, Danny. And I’m glad his rapist convo is published online for people to see. Thank God people like Perverted Justice are out there to expose these dangerous predators and looking out for our children.
I saw the dateline show on msnbc with the rabbi as well as others who appeared to be trolling for underage sex partners on line. I do not feel sorry for the rabbi in the slightest; i hope he goes to prison. i do not believe for a moment that this was his first such encounter.
I am saddened at Dateline’s and the public’s voyeurism and shamelessness. The goal of the show was not to catch a predator; it was to humiliate, shame, and destroy ill people in front of a nation. These people’s names, phone numbers, faces, and private conversations were completely exposed, without their knowledge. They have families who are affected by this. People’s entire lives fell apart in a matter of seconds, for the purpose of sensationalism. The Dateline show wasn’t about simply catching a predator; it was about OUR WATCHING a predator get caught. It was about watching a life fall apart in a millisecond. It was sad.
The life falling apart in this case potentially saves children from sexual predation. I find it offensive that someone could rationalize sympath for anyone shown on this segment: they knowingly went to a home with the intent to have sex with a 12 year old girl or 14 year old boy. If they are truly sick (as implied above), this isn’t a destruction but rather a chance for the state to place this person in an environment where they can “heal” and eliminate their threat to children. If however they are found mentally competent without the appropriate moral governor to walk safely in society — they belong in prison. Not much else to say….

He got caught,but if we would live in a true kosher society , with women and men dressed modestly, with no sexual intended display of male of female bodies in real or in picture or movie, I belive this son of Abraham would have never reached the possiblity even to make this kind of wrong appointment. Have you asked yourself who is the driving force behind the gutter-like depravity of so much of our society’s popular ‘culture’? Have you compared this culture to US popular culture in era’s prior to jewish domination and noticed any differences in quality and basic standards of common decency? We all know Jewish men are filthy sexually. I have worked at Jewish Country Clubs for 1o years. They all have terrible table manners, (chewing with mouth open, spitting food on you while they talk to you), poor hygiene and are sexual deviants. Jews are the one group of people that live up to their stereotype.
