Subtle Bias
On May 8, The New York Times reported: “Three more Palestinians were killed in scattered violence, including one who blew himself up with a car bomb next to an Israeli tank in southern Gaza.”
Killed?! Isn’t the proper term for this terrorist’s failed effort died?
well he was killed by the explosion … an individual can kill themselves … but i wouldn’t say that a friend who did so was killed… i’d say they died.
He was killed by the bomb Israel drove him to wear because of the occupation.
MO the inference is that he was killed by the israelis..
adi, the truth is i’ve got more than a half-dozen friends who would actually say what you’ve said sincerely.
and that is the problem.. not that you are friends with them but…
