The Israeli feds are looking to trade King David’s alleged tomb for a medieval Spanish shul.
The Vatican is hoping to regain control of the Room of the Last Supper in Jerusalem, one of the most sacred sites in Christianity.
It will, in exchange, hand over to the Jewish community the historic synagogue at Toledo in Spain, at present a Catholic church.

Uninformed reporting. The room has vaulted ceilings and was clearly built during the crusades. Maybe it would be one of the most sacred sites in Christianity if was actually the site of the last supper.
Since no archaeologist has found evidence of David the tomb of david thing sounds doubtful too. Maybe it is about tourist money. I don’t know.
I have been to that Church / Synagogue! IT’S AWESOME!! The Synagogues of southern Spain are so cool. One, in Granada, is called the Synagogue of The Virgin Mary. Yeah, really. There’s a good article about a book, Jewish Remnants in Spain: Wandering in a Lost World
