The JCC in Manhattan has a really cool program coming up called “The Power of Personal Economics: Using Buying Power to Make Change.” Co-sponsored by Shefa, Jews for Racial & Economic Justice, The Workman’s Circle and other prominent Jewish social action groups, the program intends to show “how simple purchasing, banking and investing choices can help create and sustain social justice.” Check it out.
