Zionists are working to convene an emergency congress in Jerusalem in the face of increasingly determined local and international efforts to push through the creation of a Palestinian state in the biblical heartland of the Jewish people.

Zionist leaders from both the Jewish and Evangelical Christian communities are being invited to the capital in February, amid reports that an increasing number of key right-wing Israeli government officials are surrendering to the “inevitability” of Palestine.

Why is this being framed as if it were a bad thing? The two-state situation, that is. I thought they wanted a two-state solution.

Also, deeming Evangelical Christians to be Zionist leaders… I mean—sheeeeit—if that’s enough to make me spin in my seat, Theodor Herzl must be spinning in his grave!
