Exit poll results
The polls are closed in Israel, and exit polls are in. So far it appears to be the lowest turnout in history, slightly under 2003.Â
The biggest surprises so far:
- The Likud is getting its ass kicked. All the pre-election polls predicted that Likud would come in third, but it might even come in fourth (behind Kadima, Labor, and Yisrael Beiteinu).
- Gil (the Pensioners’ Party) appears not only to have made it into the Knesset, but to have won 6-8 seats.

Pensioners, in some form or another, have been running since at least ’88. Yasher Koach!
